Mouton Noir was born out of inner city Birmingham, representing a set of core values as a response to the under-representation and disproportion of Black-British, Afro-Caribbean and Biracial clothing brands in the UK.

Created in 1990 and established in 2023, our founder spent 30 years travelling and experiencing different cultures. These experiences, combined with the rich heritage of Black-British culture have influenced the creativity of the design collections.
